Today, I was in DC. I went to many museums. First, I went to the Spy museum. We went outside and found some things outside. Then, we looked at the exhibits inside. There were many spy-related objects, and a lot of James Bond stuff.
The next museum we went to was the United States Botanical Garden. There were many plants there, such as orchids and trees. The special exhibition was about roots. Some roots where as long as two people!
In addition, we went to the Museum of American Indians. We saw many things related to Native Americans.
Afterwards, we went to the Air and Space Museum. There, we saw how planes fly and some future space programs and things. There was one prototype that flew by a laser that makes small explosions! I think it is called Lightcraft, but I'm not sure.
After all the museums, we went to the Peking Duck place, but there were so many people that we had to wait two hours! Instead, we waited 20 minutes to take some duck out. It tasted pretty good.
