Today, I watched the movie Inside Out. It was pretty good. Some parts of it was also pretty funny. I watched it with Nicholas's friend Om, my friends Daniel and Kehan, and Kehan's sister Judy.
The movie is about a the emotions inside the head of a girl named Riley. The emotions are Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust. They all control what Riley does. Everything was going smoothly until Riley's family moves from Minnesota to San Francisco. There, Joy finds out that Sadness can make memories sad by touching them. Joy then tells Sadness to stay in a circle. Instead, Sadness knocks over the Core memories, which power Riley's personality. Joy, Sadness, and the Core memories get sucked up a chute and get dumped into Long-Term Memory. Now the two have to find a way to get back to Headquarters. They go through all of Riley's mind and try to get back, while the other three emotions try to run Riley themselves (but utterly fail). What will happen? Will Joy and Sadness return back to Headquarters? Will Riley survive without them? Find out in the movie!
Nicholas and Om had a playdate today. They watched the movie Inside Out (obviously) and played at our house for a while. They played Legos and toys. They also played a bit of Minecraft. I think Nicholas had fun. Nicholas also went to swimming class after the playdate with Om. Meanwhile I stayed at home and read some Chemistry and other books because I didn't want to go swimming.
Tomorrow I am going to go back to Chemistry class. Yay. Nicholas is going to Champion Learning Academy for a camp (I don't know what it is).
Weird thing:
There won't be a weird thing today. Ain't that weird?
